THE MOST EXPENSIVE SHORT FILM EVER
Los Angeles (January 10, 2011) - Producer/Writer EITAN LOEWENSTEIN has completed work on the screenplay for what will become the most expensive short film ever created. Budgeted at $299,697,354.00 the film is planned to include many major stars, special effects and seemingly unnecessary expenses rarely seen in short films.
In an equally unprecedented move the FULL SCRIPT has been posted on-line to focus interest on the film and raise the necessary funds at: The Most Expensive Short Film Ever

Everest and space flight. The film will be shot both in Los Angeles, Tibet and the People's Republic of China and will feature over 2 million extras.

An Interview with the Writer
This interview of writer Eitan Loewenstein was conducted by legendary Icelandic playwright, Jón Atli Jónasson over the phone.
Jón Atli Jónasson: Mr. Eitan Loewenstein, it is nice to make your acquaintance.
Eitan Loewenstein: Indeed it is.
JAJ: First, the most obvious question I must ask. What motivated you to write The Most Expensive Short Film ever?
EL: I was motivated by the same things that motivated Shakespeare, Chaucer and Steinbeck: Truth.
JAJ: And what truth is that?
EL: There's only one kind, that's why they call it "truth."
JAJ: So, why will this film be so expensive?
EL: Well, there's nearly $300 million of truth in it. Truth is expensive. The more expensive a film, the truer it is.
JAJ: So, by your reasoning Titanic was a more truthful movie than damn near any documentary?
EL: You got it.
JAJ: That is the dumbest statement I have ever heard.
EL: I don't have to justify my art to you, you write plays no one's ever heard of.
JAJ: I'm very well regarded in my native...
EL: (annoying voice) I'm very well regarded in my native...
JAJ: Stop that!
EL: (annoying voice) Stop that!
JAJ: Why did I agree to do this interview?
EL: Because you envy me! You want to stop writing monologues about geothermal energy and make some real money like me.
JAJ: Your are a typical American movie idiot.
EL: Well, you're the first Icelandic person I've ever heard of. So there!
JAJ: I'm done with this.
EL: Go suck an iceberg.
Jón Atli Jónasson slams down the phone.
